For thousands of years, man considered art as priceless and of very high value. People way back are so much into art, specifically paintings and handcraft such as potteries that if they were sold today, would cost more than millions of dollars. But we people today are so obsessed with technology that we do not care and pay attention to these works of art anymore, which gives it even more value as it they are considered as "masterpieces" or great works.
So there is this video I've watched on Youtube this morning. The video is about stolen art and how big of a business it is. Nowadays, sophistication on hacking and intrusion are quite good that people manage to sneak in backdoors and security measures just to get into something and stealing priceless works of art.
Who could have thought paintings would cost that much? Almost everybody in the world is capable of painting things. Even this painting below costs more than 80 million dollars which only consists of 3 colors.
You really could not expect how much a piece of art or painting could get. As long as it is of age or in other words, it is old, it would really be of high value in the future, like the painting above from 1961.
